3 Install firmware
Downloads the firmware for your license and writes it to the radio. Keep the cable connected.

4 First boot & protection check
- Unplug the radio and plug it back in (or press its reset button) to start it.
- The first boot is slow (up to ~1 minute) while the device secures its firmware — normal. Wait for the screen.
- That's it — your radio is ready to use.
